Purchased in 1962, the Kossuth Club of Cambridge connects Hungarians from Cambridge, Kitchener, Guelph and Waterloo. The Club aims to promote Hungarian culture and traditions while building community and offering events for all generations.
The Club regularly hosts events for the Hungarian schools of Guelph and Kitchener, as well as cultural performances, commemoration services, and folklore concerts.
The Kossuth Hall occupies the former school building of a small village that was named Kossuth by Dutch settlers arriving from Pennsylvania. The building was erected in the 1840s and the school operated until the 1960s.
